About Us

My name is Grant Stadler and I am a senior at University of Colorado. I created this map in order to create a hiking community where hikers of Boulder and surrounding areas can provide an up to date and accurate preview of the hiking trails of Chautauqua Park. We have all found ourselves hiking a trail solely based on length of the trail and the general direction, but this map will provide a service that will eliminate these restrictions on the decision making process. This crowdsourced map targets the hikers that are short on time and want to have a fun and informed hike based on the reports and reviews from other hikers.
